Sharknado..... enough said. SyFy is bringing in another TV movie that will most likely be laughed at for a long time. If you haven't realized it yet, the plot of Sharknado is Los Angeles is dealing with a tornado with sharks in it. Sounds stupid, right? Directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, some no name director, and starring Tara Reid, Ian Ziering, and John Heard, Sharknado will be premiering this Thursday, July 11th, at 9/8c. This isn't the first time the shark has been the star of a SyFy TV movie. Who could ever get the straight to TV classic Sharktopus, or the movie everyone has on their DVR's or on DVD Jersey Shore Shark Attacks? It is starting to look like the shark is coming back as the new zombie! I am going to be honest, if there were zombies and a tornado with sharks in it chasing after me I would be more worried about the tornado with sharks. It is really hard not to hate on something like this, but it sounds so ridiculous that it's almost impossible not to make fun of it. Just imagine this as a cross of Jaws and Twister, but with an end result that will probably be disastrous.
This Thursday despite the fact I am probably going to hate myself for doing so, I will be watching Sharknado on SyFy. Who knows this could be the best movie of all time, but probably not. now if this movie can somehow prove me wrong and can actually be a better than average movie, I will write a review for it on this website. But that is only if I enjoy watching it. So stay tuned and be ready for a review that may or may not happen on Friday.
