That's right, exactly one week after the launch of the PS4, players in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the UK, and of course the US can pick up a Day One Edition, with the rest of the world to follow in 2014. I'm surprised Japan isn't on the list.
Like most other gamers, I was adamantly opposed to Microsoft's ridiculous policies regarding the Xbox One, and what made me so angry about them is they would keep this console from being the amazing one it had the potential to be. However, now that Microsoft has reversed pretty much all of those policies (even if it was only because the higher ups realized they'd start hemorrhaging money if they didn't make a change), I pre-ordered a Day One Edition of my own thanks to a Best Buy credit card and their 18 month interest-free financing. I'm also getting a PS4 on launch day, so hopefully I'll get to talk more about these two consoles once they launch in November.
Who's picking one up on November 22? |
In the meantime, what do you guys think? Are you excited for one or both of these systems? Or are you holding off on the next console generation completely, except for maybe the Wii U? I'd love to hear from you, so sound off in the comments!
