In a brief interview with
Cinéfilos, Mexican film director Guillermo Del Toro stated that Warner Bros. has a big plan for the DC Universe. The revelation came as an answer to a question about the status of
Justice League Dark. His response: "We're still still on it, and writing, and hopefully it will happen. But there's no developments that are new. It's still at Warner Bros. They are making plans for the entire DC Universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is
Justice League Dark. They're planing on TV, movies, all the media, so we have to fit within that plan."
The WB has owned DC since 1969, yet has done nothing with it. There's a glimmer of hope that they have some sort of idea on expanding their universe and that
Batman vs Superman may be the start of this.
So hold tight, DC fans, as there's still hope!
