Indie comic supporters: if anyone's paying attention, I've been raving about Future Earth Entertainment's new comic,
Earth Alliance, which has been in production for a while now. Recently, the creators dropped the finished product and I was lucky enough to catch a free copy from them. Buckle up and hang on, because this project-turned-reality is going to blow you away.
Issue one goes something like this, sci-fi fans: Earth is running operations in another planet nation's territory. Earth's presiding leader, a woman who owes her leadership position to big money donors, is given an ultimatum to reign in Earth companies or face the wrath of this planet's military. Politics, politics, politics, and then the military spearhead of Earth is forced to prepare for war—only he is having his own inner war about what to do with his troublesome son. The comic follows this family as they deal with their current situations and with each other. Both have an epic war ahead of them, but will they survive?
I loved issue one of
Earth Alliance, as it introduced me to the explosive action that will dominate this comic series. There will be a lot of ship battles, plenty of sci-fi technology, and plenty of treachery. I can't wait for issue two. Scope
