It's only day one of San Diego Comic-Con 2014, and Microsoft has given fans something they've been waiting on for quite some time: the official trailer for the original live-action show
Halo: Nightfall. Based on the video game franchise of the same name, the show will have the famed Ridley Scott as the executive producer. "With
Halo: Nightfall, we're pioneering a new medium in terms of interactive storytelling on Xbox," says Scott.
Mike Colter (Million Dollar Baby, Men in Black III) will star as Jameson Locke, a character who will also be a part of the upcoming video game Halo 5: Guardians. Today at SDCC, 343 Industries confirmed that Locke would be a playable character in the game but did not declare if he would be "friend or foe" of Master Chief.
Halo: Nightfall will stream to Xbox Live users on November 11, 2014. It will also be available as part of the upcoming re-release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
