Prepare yourselves for some poltergeist action. A teaser trailer for the The Conjuring 2 was released today and holy shit, it looks fantastic!

Just as Fanboys reported, James Wan's sequel to the 2013 cinematic success will bring Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) to 1977 England to "help single mom Peggy Hodgson and her four children, particularly daughter Janet (played by Madison Wolfe)."

Hitting the theaters on June 10, 2016, rumor has it The Conjuring 2 will open with the Warrens investigating the Amityville Horror case (after all, they do mention a Long Island family who needs help in the first movie).

After that, a sequel will tell of the infamous "Enfield Poltergeist," which took place at a house in Brimsdown village, borough of Enfield, England. You can find more details on this fascinating real-life case by clicking here.

The first The Conjuring movie grossed $318 million worldwide, and the sequel is expected to do as well or better.
