Here are some of the topics I felt like voicing my opinions about:
Netflix Cancels Jessica Jones and Punisher Series
Is literally anybody surprised about this whatsoever? As soon as Daredevil was cut, this was obvious.
Trolls Target Captain Marvel on Rotten Tomatoes
Waaaaah I have a problem with something someone said and I'm going to try to sabotage everything surrounding it because that'll make me feel better. Stupid. Look, I'm a white male and I'm someone who finds a lot of things nowadays to be annoying when it comes to pointing at me as being a problem when I've done nothing wrong, so I get when people are peeved about hearing more about that. However, what the fuck does that have to do with this movie? Brie Larson throwing out the idea that most of the press junkets feature white males is not an attack on white males, nor does it mean the movie she's in sucks.
Granted, if in the film, a major plot point is "all white males suck" or something, then sure, by all means, trash the movie. If the movie itself is terrible, it will get the Rotten Tomatoes score it deserves. But until that is the case, don't crap on a movie for a reason other than the movie's credentials and the process in making that movie—none of which seems to be the case when it comes to this.
France Makes Lightsaber Dueling a Sport
Hey, at least this isn't as bad as the people claiming Jedi as their religion, right? Lightsabers are cool and I'd rather watch this type of a duel than fencing.
Better Than Flashpoint
People are making buzz over Zack Snyder saying his plans for the DC films were "better" than Flashpoint. Why? Of course he would say that! Do you think he would say "Nah, Flashpoint's so much cooler than what I had in mind. My ideas would have sucked." or something like that? Come on now, people.
This very well could have been true, but it's just his perspective of the story he wanted to tell. he wanted to tell it because he liked it, so of course he's fond of his idea. It could have been awesome, or it could have been terrible. Someone out there thought Fant4stic was a good plan. Remember that.
Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart Guinness World Record
Jackman and Stewart have been awarded records for the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest portrayal of a live action superhero for, obviously, their roles as Wolverine and Professor X.
That's awesome! They both killed the parts over and over and over again and I doubt we're going to find anyone better.
So I watched Gotham...
...just to see the Ace Chemicals thing. I haven't seen the show in a few seasons, as it's just awful. Clearly, things haven't changed. However, I do think the idea of Joker trying to kill a father/mother figure to replace Joe Chill is a neat concept.
